What this site does
ChatGPT2Word is a static web app that turns Markdown (including ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and
Grok answers) into Microsoft Word .docx files in your browser.
What we do not do
- We do not upload your pasted text or uploaded
.md/.txtfiles to a conversion server. - We do not require an account or login.
- We do not sell your content or use it to train models.
- We do not offer share-link fetching that would pull private chats through our servers.
What happens on your device
- Parsing and .docx generation run in JavaScript in your browser.
- Optional draft text may be saved in
localStorageon your device so a refresh can restore it. You can Clear to remove it. - Document setup preferences (font, size, margins) may also be stored locally.
- “Copy formatted” uses the system clipboard APIs on your device.
- “Export PDF” uses your browser’s print dialog (e.g. Save as PDF) — still local.
Hosting & logs
The static site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages (or equivalent CDN). Standard web-server / CDN request logs (IP, user-agent, URL) may exist for security and reliability. Those logs are not your document contents — your Markdown is not sent as a conversion payload.
Analytics & cookies
This product does not require cookies for conversion. If analytics are added later, they will be documented here and will not include document contents.
